Primary Responsibilities of a Process Engineer

• Apply engineering principles to safely process propellants, pyrotechnics, and/or explosives for product development or improvement, ensuring compliance with program requirements

• Develop new tooling, processes, and techniques to enhance manufacturing capabilities and efficiency

• Document and maintain all process documentations, including but not limited to: Bill of Materials, Process Flows, Work Instructions, etc.

• Responsible for tooling design and documentation by applying working knowledge of product design and assembly to the manufacturing process

• Understanding and experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)

• Develop robust processes for failure analysis and drive continuous improvement

• Lead and participate in current and future product and facility development projects

• Coordinate and perform all necessary validation and / or process engineering evaluations as needed for manufacturing equipment

• Deliver oral presentations summarizing progress on selected projects and programs to both internal and external stakeholders

• Provide technical support and training to Engineering Technicians involving them on current and future project activities

• Estimate labor, equipment, and material requirements for production work and development projects

Required Experience & Skills of a Process Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.

• Minimum four years’ experience with propellants, pyrotechnics and/or explosives in manufacturing preferred.

• Minimum two years’ Experience in manufacturing or process engineering, preferably in composite propellant manufacturing or a related industry

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and requirements for composite propellant and propellant-loaded devices or industry-relevant experience preferred

• A working knowledge of energetic material regulations and safe handling/measurement

• Familiarity with Program Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Research and Development, and Product Engineering processes

• 3D modeling and 2D drafting experience. 0-3 years

• Capable of performing assembly stack up analysis

• Disciplined in organization with meticulous attention to detail

• Ability to obtain approval through ATF to handle Nammo products and information

**How will you make an impact in this role?**

As a Senior Service Assurance Engineer in our Mission Control organization, you will be essential in providing enterprise services to ensure high levels of product availability for the customers and partners of American Express. Key responsibilities may include:

**Minimum Qualifications**

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science, computer science engineering or related technical experience. 4 years of varied experience in software engineering or service delivery.

+ Experience with identifying application/infrastructure risks and mitigation strategy and the ability to work with a team to ensure risks are mitigated.

+ Performance troubleshooting and tuning, experience implementing high availability solutions like Always on, Clustering, Mirroring etc.

+ Solid understanding of ITIL (Event, Incident, Release, Problem and Knowledge Management) is critical to success.

+ Experience with troubleshooting techniques for root cause analysis of issues.

+ Experience working with monitoring tools - application performance monitoring, AIOps or an equivalent tool to improve overall efficiency.

+ Experience in one or more of the following: Programming languages, Networking, Linux/Windows, Mainframe, Middleware, Databases, cloud.

+ Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

+ Soft skills – analytical thinking, curiosity, continuous learning and improvement attitude.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ DevOps knowledge for highly available IT infrastructure.

+ Current experience related to current MI Doctrine, recent (draft) changes and fielding of the Army Field Manuals, Army Regulations and Department of Defense Directives (DoDD) relating to Intelligence Operations where applicable.

+ Experience working on the most recent automation tools-sets and systems applicable to job performance.

+ Able to maintain current and future required certifications and trainings associated with this position.

Requirements and Qualifications:

+ Secret clearance

+ Experience must include coding in C# programing language.

+ Experience must include design and development using the Unity 3D Game Engine.

+ Conceptualizing, developing, and supporting web applications and data integration solutions, while ensuring that software projects meet business requirements, fulfill end-user requirements, and software issues are resolved.

+ Compliant with DOD 8570 at the IAT Level 1.

+ Interim Secret to start, must be able to receive and Maintain a TS/SCI within first year.

+ Minimum 6 years' experience which includes developing and deploying new features to existing training products. Troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality. Creating efficient and reusable code with extensive test coverage and modern technologies.

+ Experience documenting detailed technical specifications, customizations, features, integrations, and software detail for training solutions.

+ Collaborating with subject matter experts and end-users on the analysis, design, and testing of web applications and system integrations.

Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours 0900 to 1430 or as established by the RA. The facility is closed during local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings.

Place of Performance: The primary work location will be Ft. Huachuca, AZ within Government facilities.
