    **Position Description:**

    Administrative assistants manage and distribute information within the regional office. This generally includes answering phones, taking memos, and maintaining files.

    **Position Qualifications:**

    **Essential Duties:**

    + Reads and routes incoming mail. Locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by employer. Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes.

    + Takes dictation in shorthand or by machine and transcribes notes on typewriter or computer or transcribes from voice recordings.

    + Composes routine correspondence.

    + Organizes and maintains operational file system and files correspondence and other records.

    + Answers and screens manager's telephone calls and arranges conference calls.

    + Coordinates manager's schedule and makes appointments.

    + Arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations.

    + Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves, and prepares facilities, and records and transcribes minutes of meetings.

    + Makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials.

    + Orders and maintains supplies and arranges for equipment maintenance.

    THE POSITION

    Cayon State Electric is looking for an entry-level bilingual Recruiter to join our Recruitment team. This person will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring commercial and industrial electricians. The primary responsibility will be to source, screen, and interview candidates for electrician positions, ensuring that we are keeping up with our manpower needs to meet the demands of our projects and clients. This role will also work very closely with our safety department to hire apprentices.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and experience.

    + Proactively source and engage with potential candidates using recruitment tools, databases, and industry networks.

    + Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for electrician positions and apprenticeships.

    + Coordinate and facilitate in person interviews with our Superintendent to evaluate skills and fit for electrical positions.

    + Post jobs to various channels, including online job boards and social media.

    + Attend networking events and community outreach programs.

    + Represent CSE at career fairs, trade events, and other industry-related functions to attract potential candidates. This includes building relationships with high schools and community organizations.

    + Understanding staffing requirements, discuss candidate profiles and address recruitment challenges.

    + Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics, progress, and outcomes.

    + Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records.

    + Serve as a point of contact for candidates, addressing inquiries and providing information about career opportunities within CSE.

    + Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment and interview process, providing timely communication, guidance, and support to candidates at every stage.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Fluent in English and Spanish

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with candidates from diverse backgrounds.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    + Previous experience in recruitment is a plus but not required as we are willing to train and teach.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office is an advantage.

    + Willingness to learn and follow directions.

    Pay for this position ranges from $22 per hour to $26 per hour.
