**Required Skills & Experience**

+ 2-5 years of related desktop and/or deskside support experience

**Description**

Ensures the heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation systems run smoothly and efficiently. Performs installation and service, including inspection, maintenance, repair, and testing of HVAC systems.

+ Perform preventive maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of main cooling/heating systems

+ Install, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, belts, fans, coils, compressors, etc.

+ Work with furnaces, boilers, stoves, heat exchangers, burners, blowers, fans and radiant heaters

+ Responsible for maintaining electrical controls associated directly with the refrigeration/cooling equipment

+ Recover refrigerant and provide associated documentation

+ Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Two (2) years of applicable experience in Residential and Commercial HVAC maintenance and installation

+ May require specific HVAC Certification(s) as specified by work site

+ Able to use a variety of computer software applications, especially Microsoft Office

+ Demonstrated ability to read and interpret refrigerant system pressures

+ Demonstrated ability to understand the hazards associated with working on/around HVAC equipment, troubleshooting HVAC refrigerant, electrical (480/208 3 phase and 120 volt), and gas systems

+ Demonstrated ability to braze/solder refrigerant line-set and coils for installation and repair applications

+ Ability to effectively troubleshoot electrical/electronic controls associated with HVAC systems

+ Ability to independently install, diagnose, repair, replace, and balance a wide variety of heating, ventilation, cooling systems and ice makers

+ Ability to perform proper refrigerant recovery and reporting

+ Self-motivated and willing to work with and be a contributing member of the HVAC team

+ Ability to communication with all employees at all levels

**Pay scale: additional benefit package above Union scale:**

• 1st year Apprentice - $20.83/hr

• 2nd year Apprentice - $22.60/hr

• 3rd year Apprentice - $24.82/hr,

• 4th year Apprentice - $28.36/hr

• 5th year Apprentice - $31.47/hr

• Journeyman - $44.32/hr

**Responsibilities:**

• Working Safely and follow all protocols to remain safe while working in a chemical factory. Understand the basics that are required within the OSHA 30.

• Working closely with Experienced Testing, Adjusting and Balancing Technicians in a semiconductor facility.

• Maintaining System and equipment balance during new installations and the de-installation of old process equipment.

• Troubleshooting issues that come from designs not being able to be met on the air requirements of the process equipment.

• Working as a team and keeping each other accountable and safe. No one should go home in any other condition than equal to or better than when they arrived at work that day.

• Assists in emergencies as needed in the evening and / or weekends when the customer needs it.

**Qualifications:**

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must be a Sheetmetal workers Union #359 member or be willing to sign up for the apprentice program as a Union #359 member. Membership must be maintained throughout the tenure of work.

• Must pass a drug screening (including THC) given to be able to be dispatched.

• Must pass a background check.

o For services in the US, at a minimum, a criminal history check is required and must include (i) seven (7) years of applicable felony jurisdictions (including federal jurisdictions), (ii) five (5) years of applicable misdemeanor jurisdictions, and (iii) a “nationwide” type of a criminal history crosscheck. Job Responsibilities:

* Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

* Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.

* Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

* Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.

* Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

* Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.

* Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.

* Assisting with customers' queries.

Qualifications & Experience:

* 4+ year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.

* Must basic HVAC Hand tools, gages.

* Valid driver?s license.

* Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.

* Working knowledge of boiler systems.

* Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.

* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.

* Ability to work in confined spaces.

Job Summary

Summary: Repairs, maintains and assists in the installation of vending machines and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company-owned vehicle.

+ Calls on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; listens to and resolves service complaints.

+ Visually inspects and listens to machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantles machines to gain access to problem area.
