    **Position Summary**

    The Maintenance Manager holds the overall responsibility for managing the Maintenance function, ensuring the production of high-quality products with maximum operating effectiveness and safety. This critical role is an integral part of the Sight Leadership Team, overseeing the repair and maintenance of all plant and facility equipment, as well as providing technical guidance to the Maintenance Staff. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) is paramount to ensure the safety, quality, and quantity of the products.

    **Key Responsibilities:**

    + Managing daily maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, cGMP guidelines, and best practices for corrective and preventative maintenance procedures. This includes accurate completion of the preventative maintenance program.

    + Coordinating, overseeing, and managing repair and maintenance work performed by technicians, vendors, contractors, or third-party partners.

    + Providing on-call and on-site support for emergency situations.

    + Recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising maintenance associates, conducting regular performance appraisals, and providing coaching, guidance, direction, and motivation to foster ownership of results.

    + Managing the operational budget, key performance indicators (KPIs), and equipment efficiencies for the Maintenance department.

    + Overseeing all site maintenance needs, including facility, equipment, and grounds.

    + Building technical capability within the Maintenance and Operations teams.

    **Experience and Education Requirements:**

    + Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred.

    + 5+ years of proven production or manufacturing maintenance experience in lieu of degree.

    + A background in the food, drug or nutritional industry is a strong plus

Responsibilities Major Duties: Electrical- Performs all preventative maintenance, operational checks, repair, layout, installation, troubleshooting, tracing, locating defects, modification on and new and existing secondary electrical systems from transformers to final connections park wide. Installs, maintains and repairs electric motors, pumps, control wiring; relays and starters, particularly those units required for building boiler systems and HVAC. The park community consists of some 2,500 people, including employees of the NPS and concessionaires and their family members. There are often employment opportunities for family members in the park and surrounding areas. The park community is small enough that many employees choose to walk or bike from their homes to work.
