    Performs tasks and provides services to support the plant's production goals, overall business plans and objectives as directed.

    + Repairs and maintains all assigned machines and equipment.

    + Accesses, inputs, and retrieves information from the computer.

    + Assists in inspection of tooling and operates most inspection equipment.

This role is considered one of the most important roles within our site, the technical estimator is the person in charge of converting new quote requests from sales into new work for production to aid sales revenue and margin goals.

    Principal Accountabilities

    + Estimation: Prepare accurate and competitive job estimates for customer-required quotes, considering materials, labor, machine time, and other relevant factors.

    + Technical Expertise: Leverage 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist, working with multiple machines, including lathes and mills, to understand the intricacies of machining processes and their associated costs.

    + Collaboration: Team player, positive attitude and communicates effectively with Sales, CNC Programmers, Engineering, and other related departments to ensure the accuracy of quotations. Act as a liaison to build a network for sharing ideas and addressing questions.

    + Customer Interaction: Be customer-facing and assist the sales department with technical questions, providing technical expertise and support as needed during customer calls or meetings.

    + Troubleshooting: Act as a troubleshooter, identify potential challenges in project execution and proposing solutions to ensure successful project delivery, individual possess a "can do" attitude that will aid him to convey ideas into solutions.

    Knowledge / Skills / Experience

    + Bachelor's degree in science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist, working with lathes and mills, demonstrating proficiency in machining processes.

    + 5+ years of experience estimating jobs for customer-required quotes.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards addressing challenges.
