The PE IT Design Services team is chartered to deliver capabilities and solutions to support expanding Intel Foundry Services (IFS) (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/foundry/intel-foundry-services.html). Our team provides the IFS portal and a best-in-class interconnected experience for pre-silicon (IP management and other design services), collaboration tools and platforms, issue management, and post-silicon (reporting and manufacturing data services) workflows. Our new portal experience will transform how Intel works with our foundry customers and suppliers.
We are looking for developers and technical leaders to enable customers and business development partners to securely interact throughout the foundry engagement process.
As an IT Software Development Engineer your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
+ Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications
+ Development may span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development
+ Uses modern software development methodologies and programming languages
+ Follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines
+ Analyzes user stories
+ Writes both functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit integration and end-to-end testing of applications
+ Completes SDL tasks with the assistance of product security engineers
+ Provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
+ May also interact with end-users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications
+ Be well versed in the latest development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and test-driven development
+ Should also enable solutions that take into account APIs, security, scalability, manageability, usability, and other critical factors that contribute to complete solutions
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or any other related field
+ 10+ years of experience in programming, with proficiency in full-stack, enterprise-scale application design and development
Experience in one or more of the following:
+ API integration
+ Application and system security
+ Modern state-of-the-art cloud platform, and related technologies
+ SFT (Secure File Transfer) protocol
+ Docker, Containers, Microservices pattern
