The purpose of the Customer Innovation to guide our customers to better deploy, adopt, and gain long-term business value from their investment in Microsoft. In turn, their successes will ensure we grow our Azure consumption. Ultimately, when customers are successful, we are successful. Product and Design Engineers are deep technical experts helping the customer to achieve the maximum in the use of Microsoft technologies. Product and Design deliver assistance to customers through specific deliveries such as workshops and customized trainings in one of different solution areas. As part of the delivery lifecycle, PDE’s may troubleshoot technology-specific issues, recommend optimal governance approaches, and share best practices to optimize the customer's environment. Besides, through these deliveries, PDEs help customers explore additional opportunities with leading-edge technologies.

As an PDE Aspire you get up to one year ramp-up-time to find the best solution area, that passionate you.
+ Cultivates relationships and credibility through strong technical delivery, implementation, remediation, migration, and supportability and ownership.
+ Develops rapport with customers and the virtual account team (VAT) to manage customer expectations and realize customer business objectives.
+ Identifies trends in customer and partner technical implementations and communicates delivery opportunities to local stakeholders.
+ Get to know the company and the role as well as a technical understanding of leading-edge technology and trends
+ Works closely with employees from various organizational levels at the customer to fully understand their technical needs.
+ Currently pursuing or have completed bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field with at least one quarter/semester remaining to complete after internship.
+ Demonstrated self-learner, seeks information about the underlying needs of customers, and builds customer/partner relationships.
+ Professional certifications (SharePoint, Windows, MCITP, etc.) are desired.
+ Displays strong stakeholder and relationship management across senior leaders, partners, and customers.
+ Enthusiasm towards leading technologies and motivation to learn and grow
+ Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills in English.
The salary range for this role based in Colorado is from $95,200 to $142,000. At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
