+ Work with customers, key stakeholders, and partners to define a product vision and roadmap

+ Understand and apply new trends and competitive best practices into product roadmap and requirements

**Job Description:**

As a Sr. Product Manager for the American Express Cloud team (eCP) you will work on Cloud Platform and financial capabilities for the Cloud platform using cutting edge technologies to enable thousands of developers build applications that define the future of our digital life. This role primarily focuses on Cloud Platform financial operations and related infrastructure cost optimization spanning PaaS, IaaS, virtual networks, serverless computing, and microservices on private and public clouds.

You will play a key role in innovating new features and products that uniquely meet the needs of Cloud Platform – both Public and Private clouds. You will be actively involved with the product offerings through all stages of the product life cycle managing strategic infrastructure financial planning, feature selection and tactical activities on all known Public Clouds – AWS, Azure, Oracle and others. You are a self-starter, keen to learn and experiment with new technologies, work independently and as a team player, identify sales needs and address them as needed. This position reports into Director of Product Management - Enterprise Cloud Platform.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Define roadmaps and product capabilities/features to optimize infrastructure financial management and resource cost reporting; enhance Customer experience to meet Customer needs that drives Cloud adoption for Amex applications.

+ Ownership of roadmap enforcing tagging strategy for cloud infrastructure including resource cost estimation and analyzing the components.

+ As the subject matter expert, help American Express developer community and Cloud Engineering teams with product-cost related questions and hands-on technical training.

+ Collaborate with the technology vendors, cloud partners to build innovative solutions to secure workloads in private and public cloud environments with financial optimization as a guiding principle.

+ Create product related awareness and marketing materials, and evangelize the products and product strategy on infrastructure tagging and financial reporting

+ Collaborate and liaise with Engineering, Operations, and Developer teams on a day to day basis to define and implement roadmaps.

+ Collaborate with partner teams (Information Security for example) to understand the tagging requirements and integrate into the roadmaps/sprints/releases.

+ Prepare and present executive level strategies, spotlights, and business cases of key capabilities.

+ Be a promoter of the Cloud platform to the American Express community and put continuous measures to increase Customer net promoter score

+ Establish cadence with frequency for customers to incorporate feedback into the product on a regular basis, enhancing NPI scores.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ 5 years of experience in Product Management, preferably infrastructure Cloud Computing with (PaaS, IaaS, etc.) in both Public and Private clouds

+ BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, MBA a plus

+ Distill a complex set of requirements into defined deliverables

+ Explain complex concepts in a way that enables the team to understand what they are doing and why.

+ Ability to think strategically and execute tactically

+ Strong communicator with results-driven attitude

+ Experience with Agile methodology to drive software development and delivery

+ Competent in using data-driven processes/tools for decision making.

+ Deeper knowledge on public cloud infrastructure provision, cost optimization and governance, forecasting, and third-party license management

+ Excellent understanding of Public clouds and components such as Infrastructure, Virtualization, Containers, Network, Storage, Tagging tools, monitoring tools, Logging analytic tools, Monitoring (Splunk, etc.)

+ Excellent understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD) tools and processes (Example: Jenkins, Ansible, etc)

+ Passionate about developer ecosystem and developer/SRE workflows

+ Required: Experience designing cost and financial requirements for PaaS and IaaS Hybrid/Private/Public Cloud

If you have completed your primary vaccine series but have not yet reached your booster eligibility date, you will be able to come into the office; however, you will need to complete your booster within 30 days of becoming eligible to continue coming in and participating in company-sponsored in-person events.
