Job Overview The Technical Product Manager is responsible for defining product plans and requirements for iCIMS products. The Technical Product Manager is the agile product owner. As part of this process the Technical Product Manager will be responsible for working closely with Product Managers, the Portfolio Director and architects to understand product needs and goals and to develop and prioritize product roadmap for the product. Responsibilities + Partner with Product Managers, Portfolio Directors and architects to define product requirements for core platform components/services and experiences + Understand the customer, their needs and their measures of success and feed that into the product design and roadmap + Define delivery milestones, develop user stories, lead grooming sessions, and manage backlog for agile team. + Liaise with other teams and stakeholders where upstream or downstream dependencies exist to ensure timing and goals are met + Work closely with the Engineering Manager to drive delivery, conduct sprint reviews/demos and enable cross-functional teams + Team closely with development, Test Engineers, designers, business, marketing and operations teams to successfully design, build, and deploy technology improvements + Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and values. Qualifications + 2+ years of product management/product owner/business analyst experience with an engineering and technology background a strong plus + Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously + The desire to be part of and to contribute to a team environment + Ability to works under limited manager supervision- exceptionally self-motivated and creative + Creative problem solving, and business judgment are required + General knowledge of product lifecycle management + Technical ability to manage project assignments with a wide range of complexity in various areas of knowledge + Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey thoughts and ideas across all levels of the organization + New product development experience in a fast paced, agile development environment + Exceptional relationship building skills and the ability to strategically plan and influence across all departments in the organization.
