**Summary:**

Oculus Game Studios is seeking an accomplished Tools and Systems Engineer to work with a team of experienced programmers on an unannounced game using the Unreal Engine. Candidate would be expected to work in several areas of game development, however would be primarily tasked with systems and tools related functionality. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a team-oriented, collaborative approach to development, and be experienced in many areas of game development—including programming tasks related to a variety of subjects such as physics, graphics, gameplay, networking, math, tools, etc. Candidate must be focused on the quality of their work, be able to learn quickly, be able to complete any programming task efficiently, and be able to grasp new technologies and concepts quickly.

**Required Skills:**

Tools/Engine Programmer - Twisted Pixel Games Responsibilities:

1. Identify project-related technical risks or issues, ability to generate and execute creative solutions

2. Design tools and systems that assists in empowering the team to make a better game

3. Design and develop game systems that contribute to the core technology framework

4. Implement tasks in the tools, game engine, and actual game

5. Work closely with game designers, producers, engineers, and artists to ensure the highest quality product

6. Put in the effort and time necessary to complete tasks in a timely fashion as well as making sure they are robust, expandable, and fun

**Minimum Qualifications:**

7. 5+ years professional game programming experience

8. Proven C/C++ programming skills, and experienced grasping complex systems

9. Proven communication skills and experienced working in a team environment

10. Experienced shipping at least one PC/Console and/or VR title

11. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience

12. Experience with C# for tools development

13. Experience with Unreal Engine (UE4)

14. Experience with Android development in C++

15. Experience with low level console API’s

16. Experience with low level performance optimizations

17. Experience creating and optimizing HLSL shaders

18. Experience working with a small team of programmers

19. Experience working on a multiplatform game
