At Honeywell Aerospace Advanced Connected Sustainability Technologies (ACST), our outstanding team of scientists, engineers, and professionals develop groundbreaking technology by applying their expertise in complex hardware and software control systems, atomic physics, ultra-high vacuum environments, cryogenics, cyber security, and more.

Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a Splunk System Administrator for our Broomfield, CO, Chandler, AZ and Golden Valley, MN location. In this role, you will identify and implement end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions to meet the demands of the ACST business and engineering teams.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

+ Overseeing local Splunk (SIEM) implementation

+ Managing data onboarding with enterprise environment

+ Clear communication on findings and/or new rule logic to teams and leadership

+ Researching and identifying IT solutions and technologies that put ACST in the best position to respond to current and future business demands.

+ Experience working with VMWare.

+ Provide problem escalation support from IT Support staff.

+ Providing additional on-site support for roll-out of ACST IT initiatives.

+ Periodic work before or after hours to complete system updates.

YOU MUST HAVE:

+ 3-5+ years in splunk support of SIEM and or NOC.

+ Experience with implementing Splunk installation from the ground up, including (search head, indexers, forwarders, etc.).

+ Experience with configuring and managing unstructured logs from various hardware providers.

+ U.S. Citizenship to obtain and maintain government security clearance.

WE VALUE

+ Capability to create and explain architecture designs and logging rules to less technical staff

+ Technical certifications – Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin, Python, Perl, Linux Scripting, Network+

+ Experience managing networks serving High Performance Computing

+ Security/Management certifications - Security+, CISSP, ITIL

+ Associate degree or higher in Information Technology

+ Experience driving project execution within set timelines and the ability to deliver on challenging commitments

Compensation & Benefits:

Non-Incentive

Salary Range: $93,600-$140,000
