JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Design mobile charging systems for electric vehicles, considering factors such as power requirements, safety standards, and portability.

* Develop specifications and schematics for electrical components, including chargers, batteries, inverters, and control systems.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components into a cohesive mobile charging solution.

* Conduct thorough testing and validation of mobile charging systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and performance requirements.

* Analyze test results, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on the design to enhance efficiency, reliability and safety.

* Work closely with automotive manufacturers, energy providers, and infrastructure operators to integrate mobile charging systems into existing EV ecosystems.

* Develop protocols and interfaces for seamless communication between charging systems, vehicles, and grid infrastructure.

* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver mobile charging solutions on schedule and within budget constraints.

* Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and external partners to procure components and services required for system development and deployment.

* Stay informed about advancements in EV technology, renewable energy sources, and charging infrastructure to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

* Participate in research initiatives and industry conferences to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and contribute to the advancement of electric mobility.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Authorized to work in the US

* Bachelor"s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field;

* Advanced degree preferred.

* Ten (10+) years of related experience.

* Strong understanding of electric vehicle technology, power electronics, and battery systems.

* Proficiency in CAD software for circuit design and simulation (e.g. Altium Designer, OrCAD).

* Experience with embedded systems programming and real-time operating systems (RTOS).

* Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN bus, Modbus, and Ethernet.

* Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety requirements for electric vehicle charging systems (e.g. SAE J1772, ISO 15118, UL 2202).

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work in cross-functional teams.

* Project management experience, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

* Skilled in the use of Microsoft Project Desktop, Jira, and Jama.
