**This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division.** Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. The PMO Manager is a Project management expert ensuring excellence in the delivery of site projects. Responsible for the coordination of site projects including cost, schedule, technical performance, customer satisfaction and resource management. Manages multiple projects and leads multifunctional teams to achieve objectives. Sets goals, ensures that they are met and is responsible for continuous process improvement. May be responsible for projects across organizational lines. Exercises judgment in planning and organizing work; monitors performance and reports status. Uses best business practices to ensure success in areas of responsibility. May have specific process development and portfolio management activities

**What You’ll Work On**

+ Estimates project levels of effort and resource requirements by using standard estimating techniques and tools, and by working with appropriate staff to understand scope of effort.

+ Prepares project plans, schedules and budgets by using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and by working with appropriate staff to understand tasks necessary to complete project.

+ Directs project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans.

+ Assures project quality by using standard development methodologies

+ Communicates project status by preparing standard status reports, and by participating in departmental and customer project status update meetings.

+ Resolves project issues by working with team members, project customers, and others as appropriate.

+ Consults with internal project groups by sharing project management knowledge and assisting or mentoring more junior project leaders in project management processes and techniques

+ Establishes and cultivates an extensive network of support to facilitate completion of assignments.

+ Participates in determining goals and objectives for projects.

+ Influences middle management on technical or business solutions.

+ May interact with vendors.

+ Plans and organizes non-routine tasks w/approval.

+ Exercises judgment in selecting innovative, practical methods to achieve problem resolution.

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

**Required Qualifications**

+ Bachelors Degree

Preferred:

+ PMP

The base pay for this position is $95,000.00 – $190,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
