Job Description

A large healthcare company is looking to hire a Prep-room pharmacy technician local to Arizona to join their infusion team. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications/ supplies according to patient needs. You will verify patient supplies and medications before packaging and check medications for content, accuracy, and completeness of drug packaging and labeling. You will work with other members of the team to pull, and pack supplies for deliveries and stage medications for compounding tech. You will need to be prepared to juggle multiple projects and tasks to ensure high quality and timely delivery. In this role, you will be expected to stand for extended periods. This role is closed-door and not patient-facing.

Skills and Requirements

-1+ years of experience in a Pharmacy Technician role (retail is fine)

-Active Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) and Arizona State Pharmacy license

-Experience working in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to stock and stand for extended periods -Home infusion experience null
