Functional HR Partner

In this role, you will leverage your expertise to drive talent strategies based on local market dynamics and build high-performing teams through effective and inclusive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to promote a culture of trust, respect, and commitment. You will Architect and drive tailored talent strategies that effectively align with business objectives, and work to establish a strong connection between the organization's requirements and optimizing talent to deliver results. In this role, you will support key corporate Executives in the global Integrated Supply Chain function at our headquarters in Charlotte, NC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Organizational Design & Workforce Planning:

• Ensure the structure, jobs, and skills in the company match its long-term plans and goals while providing employees with meaningful career experiences

• Develop and manage workforce strategies and align HR priorities to deliver business results

• Assess & manage labor costs & efficiency

• Drive company change, be aware of how the external market is evolving, and adapt to new ways of working to enable growth

Architect & Drive End-to-End Talent Strategies:

• Design and own innovative talent solutions to find, hire, grow, and keep talent aligned to the business strategy

• Expect and reward high performance, address problems, and calibrate

performance assessment across teams

• Make sure succession plans are up-to-date, healthy, and realistic

• Identify upcoming talent and find opportunities to enable career growth in the business and within the HR function

• Communicate plans and ensure alignment with Regional HR Partners, HR Transformation Leaders, and COEs

Partner With & Coach Leaders:

• Partner with all executive functional leaders

• Give candid, unbiased coaching, advice, and feedback to leaders

• Influence leaders to engage their workforce and foster a workplace well-being culture that values inclusion and diversity

You have the flexibility to elect a Hybrid Work Arrangement. Under a Hybrid Work Arrangement, approved employees may work up to two (2) days per week from home or another remote location if the essential functions of their jobs allow.

WE VALUE

• + 8 years of extensive Human Resources experience

• Excellent communication skills both written and oral, including executive presentation skills

• Ability to influence at senior levels of the organization and across the organizational matrix (business/regional)

• Ability to lead or manage multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment

• Previously demonstrated leadership skills, particularly around talent programs, talent/HR strategy, transparent coaching, organizational design, or workforce planning.

• Ability artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.

KEY SKILLS FOR SUCCESS

• Strategic Mindset: Data-based approach to solutions to align with business needs; drive organizational design & and change leadership

• Business Acumen: Understand how client groups operate and know HR tools/resources needed to inform business decisions

• Talent Architecture: Diagnose talent needs of the organization, knowing the talent, their career aspirations, and individual development plans

• Driving Performance: Raise the performance bar and recalibrate every cycle, make timely resource allocation decisions

• Transparent Coaching: Provide fast, accurate, and honest direction to accelerate development; cascade communications to drive strategy.
