Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a Lead Controls Technician for our Chandler, AZ location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Manufacturing:

Assist in the design and development of controls systems including PLCs, HMIs, MES, control servers.

Install, configure, and trouble shoot control system hardware and software.

Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to develop and implement control strategies for new and existing equipment. Perform system testing and validation to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to cost reduction and production efficiency.

Support continuous improvement projects to streamline workflows, eliminate waste, and enhance productivity.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate documentation of control systems throughout the facility.

Production Support:

Assist with production activities from the controls perspective to meet customer needs and timelines

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

US CITIZENSHIP

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE

3 years of manufacturing floor experience as an industrial electrician, controls technician and/or electronics technician.

6 + months of strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, MES (Manufacturing Execution System)).

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work in cross-functional teams.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing.

WE VALUE

Associate’s degree in engineering, or equivalent field experience/certifications.

Experience using MES (Manufacturing Execution System)

Have practical experience working with engineering equipment

Wide Experience supporting critical manufacturing.

Experience stabilizing production environments after product launch.
