The Offering Management Lead is a crucial role responsible for overseeing and driving the success of the Air and Liquid Flow NPI (New Products Introduction) portfolio as part of the Honeywell Safety and Sensing business. This position combines deep product knowledge with strategic oversight, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to drive new product innovation (NPI) pipeline development and commercialization and support overall business objectives. Your strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and insights into customer needs will be essential in driving the success of the business. As the NPI Product Lead, you will be responsible for leading the successful introduction of new products into the market. You will oversee the entire NPI process from concept development through to commercialization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer requirements. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities.

You will report directly to the Director, Offering Management and support organic growth of our sensing portfolio across a range of Healthcare and Industrial OEMs and channel partners globally.

Location: 830 E Arapaho Rd, Richardson, Texas, 75081, United States

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office)

Ideal Candidate:

+ 6+ years in product management, project management, or related roles, with a focus on new product introduction.

+ Strong technical background with experience in product development processes, manufacturing, and supply chain management.

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.

+ Knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality standards, and product lifecycle management (PLM) methodologies.

+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

NPI Project Management:

+ Develop and execute the NPI strategy aligned with the company's overall product roadmap and business goals.

+ Conduct market research, define market sizing (total addressable market (TAM,) serviceable addressable market (SAM), serviceable obtainable market (SOM)), competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify new product opportunities.

+ Define product requirements, features, and specifications based on market needs and customer feedback.

+ Effectively plan and conduct Voice-of-the-Customer (VOC); choose focus topics, identify & recruit participants, understand customer needs & pain points our offering solves, executes the interviews, and debriefs the interviews.

NPI Commercialization:

+ Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales collateral for new products.

+ Drive product launch activities including sales training, customer education, and promotional campaigns.

+ Conduct post-launch performance reviews, collect feedback, and iterate on product features and marketing strategies as needed.

+ Lead engagement with OEM customers in winning significant design-in opportunities through effective project management and cross-functional collaboration

+ Identify opportunities for product enhancements, process improvements, and cost optimization.

Project Management and Execution:

+ Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for NPI projects.

+ Monitor progress against milestones, identify risks, and proactively address issues to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

+ Coordinate beta testing, pilot programs, and market trials to validate product performance and gather customer feedback.

+ Cross-Functional Leadership:

+ Lead cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and sales throughout the NPI process.

+ Drive collaboration and communication to ensure alignment on product development milestones, timelines, and deliverables.

+ Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for the new product within the organization

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

+ Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for NPI initiatives within the organization, fostering collaboration and alignment across departments.

+ Communicate project status updates, key milestones, and potential risks to senior management and stakeholders.

+ Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, suppliers, and vendors to support NPI activities and enhance product development capabilities.

Must Haves:

+ 7-10 years of experience in product management, new product introduction, or a related role in Industrial or Healthcare products

+ 3+ years of roles with direct P&L responsibility

+ Proven track record of successfully developing and launching offerings

+ Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making abilities

+ Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels

+ Excellent communication and people-oriented skills

+ Minimum of 6 years of experience in years of experience in NPI product management or related roles

+ 3 years with a focus on NPI initiatives.

+ Proven track record in customer discovery, NPD execution, and NPI acceleration

+ Experience in developing business case financials and creating offering roadmaps.
