**Responsibilities**
+ Provides advice, guidance and expertise to promote adoption of methods and tools and adherence to policies and standards. Evaluates and selects appropriate methods and tools in line with agreed policies and standards. Implements methods and tools at project and team level including selection and tailoring in line with agreed standards. Manages reviews of the benefits and value of methods and tools. Identifies and recommends improvements. Contributes to organizational policies, standards, and guidelines for methods and tools.
+ Coordinates and manages planning of the system and/or acceptance tests. Takes responsibility for integrity of testing and acceptance activities and coordinates the execution of these activities. Provides advice and guidance on any aspect of test planning and execution. Identifies process improvements, and contributes to corporate testing standards and definition of best practice.
+ Demonstrates creativity and takes initiative in problem solving. Resolves or facilitates resolution of complex problems for assigned tasks.
+ Project assignments are large in scope and are highly complex.
+ Provide exceptional customer service to CommonSpirit end users, Business Stakeholders and other members of CommonSpirit ITD.
+ Perform daily production support activities.
+ Participate in team on-call rotations.
+ Coordinate implementation and support efforts between Technology Infrastructure and other CommonSpirit IT teams.
+ Provide operational continuity across Enterprise Command Center shifts.
+ Provide oversight and facilitation of the CommonSpirit IT change management process as it applies to the Enterprise Command Center team.
+ Provide technical leadership and ownership of issues across multiple disciplines and technologies.
+ With oversight from the Principal System Engineer and Management, initiate and facilitate strategic planning activities (capacity planning, process improvement, maintenance, upgrade and end-of-life planning,).
+ Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of infrastructure systems and alerting.
+ Identify automation opportunities and work with Infrastructure teams to develop solutions.
+ Identify technical innovation and process improvement opportunities.
+ Analyze incident queues and identify trends that require adjustment of monitoring tools.
+ Analyze incident queues and identify areas to improve or increase automated closures and documentation.
+ Develop and maintain standardized SOPs that support Enterprise Command Center workloads.
+ Utilize standard tools and methodology to develop systems and support performance metrics.
+ Demonstrate potential leadership qualities through team motivation and technical training.
+ Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge & expertise with CommonSpirit Health business processes and routines.
+ Perform crisis management during high-severity operational incidents.
+ Remote eligible.

**Qualifications**
+ BA or BS in Computer Science, Technology, or Business discipline or equivalent experience is required.
+ Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in an IT technical or infrastructure field is required.
+ Established understanding of Infrastructure and relative technologies.
+ Experience with IIS, .Net and PowerShell desired.
+ Experience with datacenter and MDF/IDF closet construction design (cabling, racks, power, cooling).
+ 5-7 years of experience with vendor management.
+ 5+ years’ experience with large complex distributed networking environments is required.
+ 3+ years designing and implementing automated solutions to automate manual processes strongly desired.
+ 7+ years’ experience with Windows Server operating systems is required.
+ 1+ year experience with PowerShell and/or VB Script.
+ 3+ years VMWare experience required
+ Extensive experience in a large enterprise operating environment supporting 10,000+ users.
+ Experience with EMC, Network Appliance, or similar storage systems desired.
+ Experience in an ITIL environment.
+ Experience with F5 hardware and load-balancing components.
+ Experience in troubleshooting server hardware problems required
+ Experience with server patching/firmware deployment tools is required.
+ Proven abilities in problem management, process analysis and root cause analysis is required.
+ Proven understanding of common operating systems Windows, Linux, UNIX.
+ Proven understanding of Infrastructure and relative technologies.
+ Proven understanding of network connectivity and protocols.
+ Proven understanding of storage related protocols (ISCSI, NFS, CIFS, NDMP).
+ Proven understanding of SAN and NAS storage infrastructures (Netapp and EMC preferred).
+ Proven understanding of RAID levels and disk technologies
**Pay Range**
$45.95 - $66.63 /hour
