The Senior Account Management Professional is responsible for growing membership within existing accounts and for directly managing business relationships with client accounts. The Senior Account Management Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The purpose of the Senior Account Management Professional is to partner with external Distribution partners as well as internal Sales leaders and associates to achieve the segment’s growth targets through assigned distribution channels while facilitating partnerships that increase our digital sales efficiency. Develops and begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

**Role Responsibilities**

+ Create and execute sales growth strategies with Humana’s alternate distribution partners while collaborating with the local market leadership and sales teams.

+ Manage and grow Humana’s alternate distribution partnerships as it relates to sales, retention, and integrated capabilities.

+ Create, track, and communicate key performance indicators for assigned partners

+ Establish and grow working relationships with leaders from assigned partners and execute sales growth strategies

+ Optimize the efficiency of the under-100 quoting and enrollment processes for both new and existing alternate distribution partners.

+ Simplify processes and access for our alternate distribution partners. This includes items like quoting, enrollment, and ongoing membership maintenance.

+ Create training programs for General Agents focusing on multiple initiatives.

+ Onboard new distribution partners

+ Leads various projects partnering with the markets to improve efficiency and solve pain points.

+ Collaborate with the reporting team to expand and improve alternate distribution reporting capabilities, coordinate and partner on how to communicate it. Partner with the Markets to understand and create better reporting and accountability information.

+ Use reporting and analytical data to drive insights to our alternate distribution partners

+ Set up meetings and create/distribute surveys with Market and distribution partners to better understand training needs and facilitate training and supporting documentation.

+ Expand and update reference guides for alternate distribution partners to enhance areas that need more clarification or can close the knowledge gaps.

+ Guide partners through the quoting and enrollment process

+ Facilitate onboarding for new partners.

**Required Qualifications**

+ Active Life and Health License

+ Prior sales experience in the insurance industry

+ Self-Starter, Implementation and Sales Strategies, Relationship Building

+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or 4 years of experience in a similar role related to Sales in a Healthcare company/organization

+ Presentation skills - ability to speak in public — Executive Presence

+ Microsoft programs literate (Word, Power Point and Excel)

+ Knowledge of agent/broker environment

+ Valid Driver's license

+ This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits

• To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

· At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested

· Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

· Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

· Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

**Pay Range**

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$86,300 - $118,700 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
