Job Title: Phlebotomist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy on patients using various techniques such as straight needle and butterfly in a hospital setting. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely collection of specimens for patient care.

Responsibilities

+ Perform phlebotomy on patients using straight needle and butterfly techniques.

+ Ensure proper labeling and processing of specimens.

+ Maintain patient care and comfort during procedures.

+ Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure smooth workflow.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in phlebotomy, preferably in a hospital setting.

+ Proficiency in specimen processing.

+ Strong patient care skills.

Work Environment

This position is based in a well-respected hospital with a newer facility and a good working environment. Available shifts include evening and night shifts with varying hours per week. Evening Shift: 1300-2130 with a 10% shift differential (24-40 hours per week) and Night Shift: 2100-0630 with an 18% shift differential (27-36 hours per week).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
