Our Miami smelter and rod plant is nestled just 90 miles east of Phoenix. The smelter processes copper concentrate primarily from our company’s Arizona copper mines and is the most significant source of sulfuric acid for our North American leaching operations. **Description**

Performs a wide variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks related to facilities maintenance and general building construction including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry, landscaping, irrigation installation/repair, and equipment preventative maintenance and repair. This includes company owned residential homes and buildings, as well as the golf course, associated buildings, and swimming pool.

+ Is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and landscaping of the Company owned community golf course, pool, all associated buildings, and equipment.

+ Performs facilities maintenance including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry, and landscaping of company owned residential homes.

+ Is responsible for installation and repair of irrigation for residential homes and community golf course and surrounding grounds.

+ Creates schedules and performs preventative maintenance on properties and equipment as well as golf course greens including measurement of green speed, interpreting results to influence greens keeping activity.

+ Responds to internal and external customer requests involving responsible building and grounds needs ensuring a timely response and resolution.

+ Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

Minimum Qualifications:

+ One (1) year experience in commercial or residential facilities maintenance and repair OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Knowledge and skill using general construction tools and equipment

+ Knowledge and experience of golf course maintenance e.g. (greens keeping, fertilization of golf course greens, irrigation)

+ Knowledge and skill using power driven equipment such an assorted mowers for maintaining golf courses

+ Knowledge of general HVAC, plumbing, irrigation, and sprinkler systems

+ Ability to calculate greens speed

+ Ability to plan and organize time effectively

+ Ability to understand, communicate, and apply instructions verbally and in writing

Preferred Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or GED

Criteria/Conditions:

+ Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a residential, commercial, or community facilities, indoor or outdoor, environments, including appropriate hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves, and any other protective equipment as required.

**What We Offer You**

The estimated pay range for this role is currently **$21.50 - $29.00/hour.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
