**Are you an experienced engineer with a strong background in test equipment design and troubleshooting? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a dedicated Test Equipment Engineer to join our team onsite. We offer a competitive pay rate of $58/hr!**

**Role Summary:**

As a Test Equipment Engineer, you will work closely with a team of on-site and remote engineers to support, troubleshoot, and update/upgrade test equipment in the factory. Your primary function will be to identify fixes and areas of opportunity for improvements, ensuring the smooth operation of production test equipment.

**Day-to-Day Responsibilities:**

+ **Support, troubleshoot, and update/upgrade** test equipment in the factory.

+ **Collaborate with on-site and remote engineering teams** to address test issues and identify areas for improvement.

+ **Analyze test failures** and recommend changes, updates, and solutions.

+ **Pareto test failures** to determine root causes of common issues.

+ **Maintain a RAIL (action plan)** with a detailed and methodical approach.

+ **Communicate findings** effectively to engineering counterparts, ISC leadership, and internal stakeholders.

**Qualifications:**

**Required:**

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship).

+ 10+ years of experience in test equipment design and troubleshooting, particularly in aerospace.

+ Strong background in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or similar systems.

+ Experience with test equipment instruments, cabling, ITAs, power, etc., for acceptance testing of production avionics hardware.

+ Strong communication skills to articulate findings and interface with team members and leadership.

+ Well-organized with the ability to maintain detailed action plans.

**Pay Details:** $58.00 per hour
