Summary:
As a member of the Arizona Cardinals Nutrition Services Department, the Business Operations Wellness & Nutrition Coordinator is responsible for the business operations wellness program and assisting with all nutrition services programming.

 
Primary Job Duties:
The Coordinator, Business Operations Nutrition and Wellness, will have the daily responsibilities, without limitation, to include the following:

> Set up, serve, and break down daily business operations lunch at the Training Facility
> Track and report accurate attendance and sign-up numbers to the Executive Chef and Culinary Operations Manager
> Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and service as needed
> Develop engaging and informative health and wellness materials and resources for business operations (e.g., table tents, visuals, and fact boards)
> Continuously research new wellness trends, studies, foods, and products to enhance wellness initiatives
> Label menu items with accurate nutritional facts, allergen information, and health benefits
> Answer staff inquiries regarding food composition, allergens, and nutritional value
> Plan and execute off-season projects aimed at improving current operational processes
> Collaborate with teams to identify areas for improvement and create actionable steps
> Adapt recipes for family-sized portions as needed for staff
> Ensure consistency in portioning and quality when scaling recipes for larger groups
> Other duties as assigned

 
Qualifications/Requirements:
> Education: Bachelors in Dietetics (or related field) preferred, or equivalent experience
> Experience: Experience in food service management, wellness, and nutrition
> Up to date on current trends and research in health, wellness and nutrition.
> Knowledge and efficient in Microsoft Office.
> Must be able to stand and/or exert well-paced mobility for extended periods of time.
> Ability to lift up to 20-30 pounds on a regular basis.
> Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including designing signage.
> Experience with Canva preferred.
> Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet high standards.
> Demonstrates professionalism, proper hygiene, and uniform standards.
> Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and prioritize tasks.
> Able to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays; hours may vary depending on business needs.
> Available for out-of-state travel.
> Excellent communication skills with chefs, nutrition services, and colleagues across the organization.
> Strong interpersonal skills, goal-oriented, and demonstrates a growth mindset.
> Up to date with required certifications, including a food handler's card.
> Maintains confidentiality and professionalism.
> Must complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check.
