Our client, a leader in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Manufacturing Material Handler to join their team. As a Manufacturing Material Handler, you will be part of the operations department supporting the logistics team. Great Attention to Detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Manufacturing Material Handler
**Location:** Tempe, AZ
**Pay Range:** $ 17.00 - $19.50 hourly DOE
**Schedule: Monday-Friday -Shifts 1st, 2nd and 3rd**
**What's the Job?**
Receive, verify, locate, stock and transport material used in the manufacturing process.
+ Stage and order racks of tray.
+ Organize and maintain inventory
+ Load and unload trucks as assigned
+ Receive material coming into the building and maintain accurate inventory
+ Accurately place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in a safe, orderly manner.
+ Issue materials for manufacturing requirements as requested; stage in appropriate area as required for delivery to the plant.
+ Position product and racking safely and to prevent damage and/or falls
+ Review all orders to determine if they were picked correctly.
+ Report faulty equipment, defective material and unusual conditions to team lead or manager.
+ Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area
+ Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
+ Accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the cycle count list
+ Other job related duties as assigned by supervisor.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or GED preferred
+ Previous experience in manufacturing environment +6 months preferred
+ Forklift experience of at least 1 year required
+ Basic math skills
+ Certificate of power truck equipment
+ Ability to be reliable and to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs.
+ Skill in being customer focused and will ensure that all orders and inquiries are responded to with professionalism
+ Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands: lift up to 50lbs., bend, twist, reach, climb, push, pull and squat.
