Description

We are looking for an Immigration Associate Attorney with at least one year of detail-oriented experience to join our law firm client's team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role requires someone who is eager to work in-office, collaborate on immigration cases, and provide high-quality legal support. Candidates who are fluent in Spanish are strongly preferred, and training in immigration will be provided as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in immigration-related legal matters, including federal cases.

• Draft legal briefs, motions, and supporting documents for case filings.

• Utilize case management and document management systems to organize and maintain accurate case records.

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.

• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, gather information, and clarify legal processes.

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure thorough preparation and execution of cases.

• Maintain compliance with legal regulations and detail-oriented standards.

• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on immigration law and procedures.

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, addressing their concerns and needs.

Requirements • Minimum of one year of experience practicing immigration law.

• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. state.

• Proficiency in case management and document management software.

• Strong legal research and writing skills, including drafting briefs and motions.

• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and other relevant tools.

• Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.

• Ability to work effectively in an in-office setting without hybrid options.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
