As a Senior Field Service Technician you will be responsible is to service Woodford Correctional Center with a focus on maintaining high level hardware/software and network assets including network switches, routers, time servers, servers, RAID systems, workstations, EBI, DVM, VMD, Biometrics, IP Intercoms, IP Cameras, NVR’s, DAR’s and DVR’s on QCS sites, to maximise customer satisfaction and minimise customer site downtime by providing exceptional technical support.

+ Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third party equipment (as per trade expertise)

+ Day to day servicing, calibrations and maintenance.

+ Configuration of Security systems hardware and software

+ Diagnoses Fault and repairs on Security Head end systems

+ Software load and Configuration of EBI / DVM Systems.

+ Small to Medium project installations including managing Subcontractors.

+ Estimates materials costs and quantities and ordering parts

+ Financial control according to previously agreed budgets and plans

+ Ensuring customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients

+ Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by Team Leader

+ Achievement, measurement and reporting of performance indicators and site service objectives

+ Availability for and performance of duties outside of normal working hours as per agreed rosters and as directed

+ Electrical or Electronics Associate Diploma or higher an Advantage

+ Fault finding and repairs to Electronic equipment

+ Experience with Honeywell control systems and EBI products in Security, Fire and HVAC applications is an advantage.

+ Experience with management, repair and maintenance of IT systems including hardware and software

+ QLD Security provider and Installer License

+ QLD Corrections Yellow Card and relevant Security Clearence

+ Commitment to customer satisfaction

+ Good communication - both verbal and written and negotiation skills

+ Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision

+ The ability to work under pressure.

+ A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.
