**Job Title: Quality Control Technician (Food Manufacturing)**

**Job Description**

The Quality Technician is responsible for performing analytical testing of ingredients and finished products, as well as conducting online checks to ensure the production line is operating effectively and correctly.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform testing on products to ensure quality standards are met.

+ Track accelerated and refrigerated shelf life samples of finished products.

+ Maintain a shelf life/retainer sample inventory.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in lab testing.

+ Experience as a laboratory technician.

+ Knowledge of food testing and food chemistry.

+ Skills in food manufacturing and food product development.

+ Competence in food processing.

+ Ability to perform data entry on a computer.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Understanding of basic operation of lab equipment.

+ Two months of on-the-job training to obtain job's base skill level.

**Work Environment**

The work environment consists of a 12-hour shift schedule with a two-week rotation, operating from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am with a pattern of 2 days on, 3 days off, followed by 3 days on, 2 days off. The facility spans 80,000 square feet and operates 24/7. The enclosed cheese room requires managing ingredients and machines, with exposure to hot and cold environments, and frequent pipefitting tasks.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Casa Grande, Arizona.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
