We are looking for you to join our team as an EMI/EMC Electrical Engineer based out of Woodland Hills, CA. **What You’ll Get to Do:**
This is a mid-level position for an electrical engineer experienced in hardware design and design analysis and with background in EMI/EMC engineering. The selected candidate will perform electrical circuit analysis, test and troubleshooting. In addition, the selected candidate will support development of EMI/EMC requirements, EMI/EMC hardware design requirements at sub-system level and will perform design analysis to verify compliance.
**This position is contingent upon the successful transfer of an active DoD Secret Clearance.**
**Basic Qualifications for a Senior Principal EMI/EMC Electrical Engineer:**
+ Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 4 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields- Prior experience in Analog circuit design, modeling, and simulation
+ U.S. Citizenship is required
+ Active Secret Clearance is required
+ Electronic hardware design experience
+ Knowledge of MIL-STD 461 and MIL-STD 464 and DO-160
+ Knowledge of EMI/EMC simulation, modeling, and testing.
+ Experience with modeling and simulation using PSPICE
+ Ability to work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, CA
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ M.S. in Electrical Engineering
+ Proficiency in using CST CAE tools
+ Experience with EMP simulation, modeling, and testing.
+ Experience in Signal Integrity analysis, working knowledge in using Cadence Signal Integrity analysis tool or Siemens HyperLynx high-speed analysis tools.
+ Experience with sub-system and system level EMI/EMC testing
+ Knowledge of circuit simulation and modeling using Ansys EMC Plus

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Salary Range: $84,900.00 - $134,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
