**OVERVIEW**

Working at a system level, develop and perform imaging repair part test procedures for multiple product lines and modalities (MR systems) using Training Academy imaging equipment, varied test equipment and techniques. Assist lesser skilled Systems Engineers in solving complex problems. Perform tasks required to support National Parts Quality Center workflow and administrative responsibilities. Perform tasks required to support Q.U.E.S.T. for Quality; a dedicated program to recognize, understand and provide solutions that improve quality throughout the service organization. Issues relating to quality-of-service parts include misidentification, Rev. level and D.O.A. issues, lost or delayed shipments, freight/shipping damage, packing issues, etc. Tasks include data entry and analysis, communication with Front Line Engineers and Managers, solution development and implementation.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Develop and perform Evaluate system assemblies and subassemblies utilizing established quality guidelines and performance standards.

+ Troubleshoot defective systems and printed circuit boards (to component level) using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debugging software, signal generators, and other various test and measurement equipment.

+ Perform tasks to support the Q.U.E.S.T. for Quality program; receive part issue reports, enter data into MS Access, research part issues to identify root causes, recommend and implement solutions. Research includes communication with vendors, customer engineers, service managers, and use of the AS400 and Clarify systems.

+ Service and periodic maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment on multiple products and modalities. (MR systems)

+ Maintain all assigned assets per company P&P.

+ Maintain accurate and complete documentation.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Literate and proficient with PC operations; MS Office operating system and applications. Additional training and experience with MS Access and MS Project is desirable.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Proven ability developing and maintaining effective internal and external working relationships.

+ Proven ability managing multiple projects.

+ Demonstrated organizational skills.

+ Demonstrated fiscal understanding - experience working within company/department budget constraints.

+ Significant technical training (Imaging service, Biomedical Engineering, AAS/Electronics)

+ MR systems preferred

+ 2 years technical experience in a related field or equivalent.

+ Base Pay is range in $78K, DOE.
