Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a Contract-to-permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic organization. The role is fully on-site and involves managing various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

• Process daily accounts payable transactions, handling 30-50 entries per day with accuracy and efficiency.

• Manage accounts receivable activities, including collections and invoice follow-ups.

• Prepare and issue checks to local vendors and ensure timely mailing of payments.

• Utilize Sage Accounting Software to perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.

• Handle production entries and assist in maintaining the organization's accounting system.

• Support administrative tasks related to accounting operations, ensuring smooth workflows.

• Collaborate with other departments to address interdepartmental accounting needs.

• Ensure compliance with business casual dress code, including closed-toe shoes for occasional visits to the warehouse.

• Participate in interviews to demonstrate skills and fit within the team.

• Maintain organization and accuracy in all financial documentation and reporting. Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software.

• Strong data entry skills with keen attention to detail.

• Ability to process invoices and manage collections effectively.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Business casual attire suitable for office and occasional warehouse visits.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
